In 2022, in an effort to increase engagement on Instagram, a platform through which KC Studio hopes to target younger cultural arts readers, I put together Black History Month features capitalizing on the #throwbackthursday hashtag. This post pulled content from a 2019 article on Black hairbraiding, while another highlighted Black artists featured over the years in the magazine.
