I’m Amanda Rehagen, and I’m a graphic and web designer in the Kansas City area with expertise in Adobe CC, HTML/CSS, WordPress and social media management across a number of platforms.

Since 2015, I have served as web designer for KC Studio, a magazine covering arts and culture in Kansas City. Additionally, I manage the social media schedule and email list/campaigns.

In 2014, after starting as web developer for Townsend Communications, I oversaw the visual redesign of the MyMajors website, pushing for improved responsiveness and a cleaner, more modern look. I’ve also helped to develop new templates for lead generation emails and redesigned the Creative Outlook website, a MyMajors product targeting art students, and applied my experience with KC Studio by creating and managing their social media calendar.

Previously, I’ve worked as graphic and web designer for Chameleon Arts & Youth Development, a small non-profit arts agency working in the urban core, and have provided design services for artists and small businesses. In 2006-07, I served as web design coordinator for the Southern Graphics Council Conference in Kansas City, designing the website in collaboration with the graphic design coordinator.

While most of my recent professional work has been focused on web design and social media, I studied printmaking while studying at the Kansas City Art Institute and still maintain a love for graphic/print media, leading me to volunteer with projects like the KC Zine Con and Undercurrent, a zine about Kansas City.
